The designs that TVL generated for us perfectly captured what we were looking for – a modern, industrial feel. The designs included some standards like subway tile, and some unexpected touches, like a custom soffit and pipe shelf supports. There is no way we could have come up with them ourselves. We worked with one of TVL’s recommended contractors, Nick, and he was terrific. Because we have a toddler and both of us work from home we were especially persistent about a short remodel time frame. The entire project (kitchen and powder room) was completed in just over two weeks. We were floored. And thrilled. Crystal from TVL was incredibly respectful of our budget ($35K) and dutifully stayed on top of monitoring our spending as we went along. She is also extremely communicative, proactive in explaining details, and clearly passionate for the work she does. We hope to work with TVL again and would wholeheartedly recommend them.

Working with TVL was a superb experience. They completed my office design and furnishing project AHEAD OF SCHEDULE and UNDER BUDGET. They were consistently responsive, attentive, encouraging, and enjoyable to work with. These are people who know how to ask the right questions, develop a deep understanding of the client’s concerns and preferences, and bring it all together in a collaborative way that both respects and improves upon the client’s original leanings. Having had such a good experience with them on this professional office, I will also use them for my next home.

I had been wanting to remodel our master bathroom since they day we bought our house. I am so happy that I found TVL Creative to help me! Other companies presented more as contractors without any design knowledge or experience. Ashley of TVL Creative was very professional and knowledgeable about every aspect of the project. They take a fresh approach to design and construction, and are nothing like any design firm your mom (ha, or my mom) has every used!!

We purchased a modern, urban town home and wanted to break the mold by ensuring that our designer was not cut from an old cloth, bound by tired decorating traditions. We found the perfect firm and designer when we engaged Faris Spinosi and TVL Creative to lead our quest. In the past year, we’ve seen our space transformed into a more beautiful, functional home and we have Faris and the TVL Team to thank. From her earliest ideas and renderings, Faris brought a keen eye and truly distinct, highly developed and diverse skill set to our project. With methodical planning and constant attention, she harnessed the best materials, craftsmen, installers, and sources for furnishing, finishes, accessories, and installations…and when all was said and done we had a home that we love more than ever. I recommend them to you without hesitation, knowing you’ll enjoy the process and the product as we did.

My partner and I contracted with TVL Creative to renovate the kitchen in our first home, which is a 600 square foot condo unit built the 1920s. Our designer, Ashley, seemed excited to dream and vision with us. And, given her background in historic preservation, she was the perfect choice to design a kitchen that both honored the building’s history and offered something new. She knew so many details about the 20’s and about the products available today. In the end, we really love our kitchen. It’s beautiful, peaceful, and just the right fit for us. We also appreciate that TVL has connections to semi-custom cabinetmakers, which turned out to be a huge asset in making the most of our small space.

Without question the most surprising and pleasant experience ever! Seems odd to say such a thing about a bathroom remodel, but as a chronic DIYer, it was a real leap of faith to have someone come in and design, manage and handle 100% of this job. Crystal obviously loves her work – and brings enthusiasm and outright joy to the whole process. Ian Burks, who Crystal brought on as the contractor, I swear was some sort of magician. I still don’t understand how we went from a full gut demo to 100% completion in 2 weeks (over a holiday!). The entire job came in $300 under the original bids even after some quirks with individual material costs – which is to be expected. This team has my utmost respect, and I’ve been recommending them to anyone who stands still long enough to hear me tell the story!
